World Mercury Project is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization located in Malibu, California.     

World Mercury Project was founded after years of relentlessly researching the devastating effects of Mercury exposure and the impact it has had, and is still having more than ever on our society.  We believe it is absolutely reckless to be using mercury in any product or operation and exposing the general public to the second most toxic element in the world, while at the same time saturating the entire planet with this mega neurotoxin.  It is nothing short of tragic that Mercury is one of the very first things that every developing fetus is exposed to, as well as the many more exposures that add to it after a child is born and on through the rest of their lives.    

We are working with many experts and specialists in this field, and reaching out to the public, government, and many organizations to help fund specific scientific research, experiments, and studies that will further prove that mercury is a trigger of many devastating health conditions, as well as to fund specific research that will lead to more effective treatments for those who are already sick from the effects of mercury.  We believe the public is in urgent need of education about this ongoing tragedy in order to make them aware of the sources and dangers of mercury exposure, ultimately giving them the ability to better protect themselves and their families.   Our Number One Goal is to ban what should have been banned long before it was ever started, the use of mercury anywhere except in a controlled environment such as a laboratory. 

We encourage you to visit the Blog section of our website, where you can follow along with us as we work toward accomplishing our goals.  We look at this Project as more of a thesis with an objective, rather than an infinitely ongoing operation.  The sooner we can go out of business, the more successful we have been.  As soon as all exposures to mercury have stopped and the most effective medical treatments for those who are already sick have been implemented, we will shut our doors and just sit back and watch miracles happen.
