On May 23rd, 2008 we attended a presentation by Dr. Boyd Haley at the Autism One Conference in Chicago Illinois. Dr. Haley is one of the world's leading experts in mercury toxicity and the role it may be playing in many devastating conditions such as Autism and Alzheimer’s. Dr. Haley received his BS in Chemistry/Physics from Franklin College, his MS in Chemistry at the University of Idaho, and his PhD in Chemistry/Biochemistry at Washington State University. He was an NIH Postdoctoral Scholar in the Department of Physiology at Yale University Medical School, and is currently Professor of Chemistry/Biochemistry in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Kentucky, where he served as Chair of this department from 1996 to 2005. The attached video is a few highlights of his presentation. There will be much more to come from Boyd Haley in our video blogs, as we had the opportunity to stay with him for a couple days at his ranch where we interviewed him for several hours and performed an experiment in his laboratory on an amalgam filling.
