On May 12th we sat down and talked to Jamie Silberberger from Women’s Voices for the Earth in Missoula, Montana. She is the lead of their Mercury Campaign that is working towards creating more public awareness of the sources and dangers of mercury exposure, as well as working towards reducing the mercury that is put back into the environment from products such as dental products and fluorescent light bulbs. They are also working toward eliminating exposures to mercury from products such as cosmetics. It was great to talk to her about her experience with Women’s Voices for the Earth and the great work they have been doing in regards to this issue. Attached is a video highlighting some of what she had to say.
